Manitowoc County Fair
August 25th - 30th in the Merchants Building
Stop in and check out the Lakeshore FIRST Robotics group at the Manitowoc County Fair! We will have tables for all ages setup - FLL, FTC and FRC, including hands on demo's!
Maxwell Street Days
Friday August 7th, 9am - 4pm
We will have a table setup near Schroeders Department Store this Friday. Stop in and check out the robot, buy a pair of goggles and chat with students impacted by the program! Lots of vendors, arts and crafts will be on display downtown Two Rivers!
We will be meeting on Wednesday the 5th from 6p-7p at Mishicot HS to load up and put the finishing touches on the goggles!
Wednesday July 29th
Stop in and take a look at the freshly waxed robotics room! A new parts rack is up and we have numerous FTC and FRC projects going! Bring your friends!
Visit us at the great Midwest Music Extravaganza on Tuesday June 30th
STEMpunk will be competing with other FIRST Robotics teams at Summerfest, promoting STEM education and having fun driving the robots. Stop in and see us!

We need to get the robot in running condition, pack tools and charge batteries. If anyone is available to transport the robot to competition on Tuesday in Milwaukee, please contact Nathan!

Recycling Drive a Success!
Thank you to those who dropped off electronics! There were a hundred TV's, numerous large appliances and many pallets of goods saved from the landfill! We appreciate those who gave their time in the rain to help unload vehicles and do some heavy lifting!
Electronics Recycling Drive
STEMpunk 4531 is partnering with the Two Rivers Optimist Club to put on an Electronics Recycling Drive in front of the Two Rivers Community Center on 1700 West Park Street in Two Rivers, WI from 9am to 1pm Saturday May 30th. Nearly anything with a cord is accepted!
- Freon items are $5.00 each (refrigerators, Air Conditioners, etc...)
- TV's any size/style $10.00 each
- and computer monitors are $5.00 each
- Everything else is free!
Be sure to check out the FIRST Scholarships page. There are over $20 Million in scholarships available to FIRST Robotics Students - Not only in engineering, but nearly every field!
2015 Wisconsin Regional Update
Thank you to everyone who traveled to support STEMpunk at the regional in Milwaukee! It was great to see so many parents, spectators and alumni there! Open House a Hit!
Thank you to all of the parents, school staff and sponsors that came to our open house! We had a great time presenting the robot and showing what all of our hard work has been going towards!
STEMpunk OPEN HOUSE and Travel meeting SUNDAY 2/8/15
Friends, Parents, sponsors and school administration are invited to our Open House on Sunday 2/8/15, Noon, in the Mishicot High School Library. Students will be showing off their progess and demo the robot, share skills learned and strategies for competition.

PARENT & STUDENT STIMS Signup
Students and Parents must register on the FIRST STIMS (Student Team Information Management System) in order to travel/compete at regionals. This is a requirement of FIRST!! Both Students and Parents must login (create an account if you are new) and complete the Consent & Release form!
Week 3 is upon us!
Check out our build photos - the gallery is in full swing. The electrical team has the CANbus working and our new driverstation is looking sharp! We started migrating the drivetrain and electronics from the kit bot, over to our new base and will be building the lift mechanism starting Monday!

STEMpocalypse has been working hard on their robot and have the shooter nearly complete!
Team Meeting Update 1/4/15
We brainstormed and decided on a drive train! Below is an image of the Pugh Matrix. We also started brainstorming ideas for controlling the recycling bins which is our primary focus for this game. More to come on that tomorrow!

KICKOFF in T-2 Days!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Valders High School on Saturday @ 9am for Kickoff! Travel funds are due at this time - once collected we will be watching the live game broadcast and go through the rules with Droid Rage, James Bot and the Green Bay East Team before breaking into brainstorming sessions.

Monday December 22nd at 8pm - FRC TOP 25 will be revealing a game hint on their webcast and have some fun planned with a few special guests!
Team Meeting December 29th - We will be meeting at Mishicot High School @ 5:30pm to finish up Shop Training to students can use the power tools and also touch on what to expect at kickoff!
Season Kickoff January 3rd @ Valders High School 9am - Everyone needs to attend, we will be watching the NASA broadcast with this years challenge and deciding on our gameplay strategy / brainstorming. There will be a potluck lunch - I'll be sending an email letting everyone know what to bring!
Training at Marquette University
For those signed up for the Marquette University FIRST Robotics Training, the bus will be leaving from Valders High School at 7am sharp on December 13th. Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you havene't already paid, remember your $10 plus a bagged lunch or money for lunch in their food court.
FLL Regional @ Lakeshore Technical College
Saturday and Sunday November 15 & 16th 8am - 5pm
Join us at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland for the the Lakeshore FLL Regional. This event is FREE to the public and you can check out all 3 levels of FIRST Robotics - including full demo's by FTC and FRC Teams from around the state. We hope to see you all there!
MANDATORY SIGNUP MEETING!!
Tuesday November 4th 6pm - 7pm
The 2015 Season Signup Meeting is Tuesday November 4th in the Mishicot High School Library. If you or a friend are at all interested in participating for the 2015 season you must attend the meeting with a parent or guardian! Please plan ahead - the only alternate meeting is the day before at Valders High School - entrance 'Q' on Monday November 3rd at 6:30pm.

This is highly recommended for both rookie and veteran members. Let Nathan know what classes you are interested in taking. The team will be carpooling to Milwaukee and back! More details and class listing/descriptions is here.
Shop Safety Training
Training to be able to use the shop equipment will take place Tuesday October 28th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This is a good thing to get out of the way before the rush of the build season!
